Criteria for Broker of the Week
YachtWorld.com members earn the chance to be featured as Broker of the Week on the YachtWorld.com home page.
Selection is based on a set of criteria we think acknowledges those members whose Web sites are among the best looking and most helpful to our visitors, and who used YachtWorld.com technology to provide premiere service to Internet boat buyers.
- Current inventory with a pattern of updating listings several times a week.
- Multiple photographs available for each boat listing.
- Inclusion of full specifications for each boat listing, so that other members can access them, and so that full specifications can be sent by e-mail to interested buyers.
- Web site content is robust and informative, including additional pages. Examples include Broker Profiles, Company History, Boat Buying Tips, Seasonal Checklist, and so forth.
- Web site design and graphics make the site easy for boat buyers to use.
- Use of options available in the YachtWorld.com proprietary site and listing update tool, BoatWizardTM, so the site features a boat listing and changes it, to keep the site fresh. Also, use of its used sold boat pricing guide to research prices.
- Customisation of Internet search engine-specific keywords for the Web site, called meta tag keywords, and registration of the broker's site with the major Internet search engines and directories. This maximises the visibility of the Web site to boat buyers and sellers around the world.
